In New Partnership, New Jersey Progressive Democrats of Union County and the Newark Water Coalition Join Forces to Bring Lead Water Testing to Elizabeth Residents Free of Charge.

Elizabeth, NJ — Saturday, September 21, 2019Through partnership with Rutgers University (RU), Newark Water Coalition (NWC) helps New Jersey Progressive Democrats of Union County (NJPD-UC) offer free testing for water-based lead contamination to any resident of the City of Elizabeth.

Residents of Elizabeth interested in this free water testing may receive training on how to take the sample and a free testing kit at a forthcoming community meeting on October 24, 2019, location to be determined. This training will be provided in English and Spanish. Advanced sign up for a testing kit is recommended and can be done at
